Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you buy a kit: your name, email, event date, event type, group size, and Stripe payment metadata (we never see your card number). When you sign in with Google: your Google account email and a session token. When your friends submit intake answers: whatever they type (name, signature line, harmless secret about themselves, energy tag, off-limits notes).

What we DON'T collect

We never ask friends to write secrets about anyone else. We don't ask for addresses, phone numbers, or financial information. We don't track you across other sites, and we don't sell your data — ever.

What we do with it

Hosts' order data is used to deliver the kit and let you re-download it. Friends' intake answers are used only to compose that single kit, and remain tied to your order in our database so the host can review before locking the kit.

Email list

If you join our email list from the Landing page or Case Vault "Notify me" buttons, we'll email you only when a new case drops. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.

Who sees your data

Just us at NightBlood Chronicles, and the service providers we use to run the site: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), MongoDB Atlas (database), Emergent (hosting + Google sign-in). We do not share data with advertisers.

Your rights

Email us to request a copy of what we have on you, to correct it, or to delete your account and associated orders. If you're in the EU/UK/California, you have the right to request this under GDPR/CCPA.

Cookies

We use one session cookie for signed-in users so you don't have to sign in on every visit. No ad tracking, no analytics third parties beyond basic server logs.

Children

wasntme.party is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep things

Order and kit data: retained while your account is active plus up to 3 years for tax/accounting. Intake answers: retained with the order. Email list: until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion earlier.
